My experience (pros/cons)

Pros:
Game mechanics are almost perfect.
Death match never fails to entertain.
Zone control has found the key to making this game superb and addicting.
Online playing (zone control) has improved vastly in the past year.
It is a solid game for the average player, with easy mechanics and customizable layouts for a better gaming experience.
There is tons of options for customization of your character.
They have improved on selecting player ranks when playing online such as putting similar ranks together and not rank 1 with rank 50.
Simple linguistics and symbols make this game a joy to play.
Graphics are insanely good.
Dedicating time to this game will really pay off in the long run as you could potentially become part of a team or host your own games.

Cons:
This game is flooded with hackers and spammers.
The main online chat is a waste of time as it is completely ruled by spammers and hackers that want your info.
Like any other online game this game has many glitches such as involuntarily suicide, horizontal arms, players disappearing and reappearing, bullets dont harm enemies, and off course HACKERS!!!
At some point you will need to spend some real $$$ if you want to make bigger improvements.
The map layouts remain the same and they havent added new maps making the game a bit tedious.
Premium accounts are a waste and dont make a huge impact in the long run.
This game will also drain your battery.
The game needs a overall update as the game remains the same after years. New maps, an updated main layout, more guns and upgrades, more skins, more game options instead of just having death match and zone control, and a better online chat that ppl can actually chat.

Overall this is a game you should not miss out on.
It is a solid game that i would definitely recommend to any fps fan.
